How they met:
Adam and I met through Match.com. We chatted for about a week before I offered up tickets to an Indians game. Due to rain, we met at the Winking Lizard downtown. He and I skipped the game and had a great time at The Liz over Great Lakes Dortmunder. We eventually sauntered up the street to Harry Buffalo where we met up with my parents and best friends - on our FIRST DATE! Needless to say, he passed with flying colors and Dad will boast that he knew that Adam was "the one" before anyone else.

The Proposal:
We were at a winery, when a glass slipper of was placed in front of me. I was oblivious, but Adam watched smugly as his plan unfolded. I raised the glass to my lips and was shocked when a sparkling ring came with my sparkling wine. "SHUT THE EFF UP!" I said. Classy. I looked left and Adam was on one knee. I kissed and hugged him. He asked, "Did that mean yes?" At that moment that I realized that My answer to the most important question of my life was "shut the eff up". But it definitely meant 'yes'.

More about the Couple:
I am an Ohioan. I graduated from Madison in 1996 and am a graduate of Ohio University (BA Psychology '00 and MBA '01). I am a Business System Consultant for Progressive. While not a native, Adam found roots here in Ohio. He is a 1992 graduate of West Geauga and attended Miami University. Adam is an area sales manager with Sunrise Senior Living. In marriage, each will gain a stepchild. Adam son, Will, is 6. My daughter, Maija, is 3. We are excited to become one big happy family!
